How to Log In to 192.168.1.1
192.168.1.1 is one of the most common default gateway addresses. You type it into a browser to open your router's settings, where you can change the Wi-Fi name, password, and more. It's used by many brands including Linksys, ASUS, and others.

How to log in
- Connect to the router's network by Wi-Fi or cable.
- Open a browser and type 192.168.1.1 into the address bar, then press Enter.
- Enter the admin username and password. Check the sticker on the router if you've never changed them.
- If nothing loads, your router may use a different address (see below).

- admin / admin
- admin / password
- admin / (blank)
- Check the label on the router for the exact defaults.
If 192.168.1.1 won't open
