1. Use a VPN (recommended for most people)
A VPN (Virtual Private Network) encrypts your traffic and routes it through a server in another location, so websites see the VPN server's IPinstead of yours. It's fast enough for streaming, protects you on public Wi-Fi, and lets you appear in another country. Look for a no-logs provider with a kill switch.
2. Use Tor (maximum anonymity, low speed)
The Tor Browserbounces your traffic through multiple volunteer relays, making it very hard to trace. It's free and powerful for anonymity, but slow and unsuitable for streaming or large downloads.
3. Use a proxy server (lightweight)
A proxyreroutes a single app or browser's traffic through another IP. It's lighter than a VPN but usually does notencrypt your data, so it's best for casual geo-shifting rather than privacy.
4. Switch networks or reset your router
Moving from Wi-Fi to mobile data gives you a different public IP. Restarting your router can also make many ISPs assign a new dynamic address. This changesyour IP but doesn't hide your general location.
